Frankfurt is one of the world's major finance centres, with a huge demand for data processing and innovative databases. It is thus perfectly suited to be the location of the second German NoSQL Event in the heart of Europe. Frankfurt has one of the busiest international airports in Europe and is easily reachable from anywhere in the world. The event will focus on NoSQL databases that are scalable, highly distributed, schema-less and mostly open source [1]. We are happy to have a large auditorium and being hosted within the third ICOODB 2010 Conference (with interesting keynote speakers). This should also encourage a fruitful exchange between the NoSQL and non NoSQL world. The NoSQL day is divided into a short get together at noon and the workshop meeting starting in the afternoon. Besides database features, the NoSQL Workshop should focus also on 'hands on' for real world benefit, best fit usage scenarios and advantages / disatvantages. Presentations and talks will be published at the ODBMS.org portal.
