Biography:
As well as being an avid Ruby Developer, I'm fond of Python and PHP, and was one of the first 1000 Zend Certified Engineers. I closely follow the Open Web Application Security Project and have had to gain a broad knowledge of data security in order to comply with the Payment Card Industry's strict Data Security Standards.
I'm a language tourist in the programming sense and a real-life polyglot. I love reading the Discworld novels of Terry Pratchett and have a guilty enjoyment of the Harry Potter and Percy Jackson series of childrens' books.
