Biography:
I've worked for twenty years in IT as a developer and a DBA. I've built systems for large companies. I put three dot.com's to sleep. I write articles for SQL Server Central and SimpleTalk. I'm the author of two full books, Dissecting SQL Server Execution Plans and SQL Server 2008 Query Performance Tuning Distilled. I am the co-author of Beginning SQL Server 2008 Administration. I'm very involved with SQLPASS and I intend to continue to support that organization in any way I can. I'm one of the founders of the Southern New England SQL Server Users Group and I'm currently serving as it's president. I have also developed and presented complete structured learning plans to teach SQL Server and TSQL to developers and other IS personnel.
