Biography:

Saleem Khan is a professional journalist and news innovation consultant with credits at the New York Times, Globe and Mail, Toronto Star and Canadian Broadcasting Corp. [CBC]. He founded the Innovate News initiative and conference that convenes news, business, design, technology and other professionals and executives to explore and invent next-generation media.

A digital news pioneer, Saleem was previously recruited to launch, manage and report for CBC's technology news service, and as news and global technology editor at Metro International, the world's largest international newspaper. He was earlier an editor at several Toronto Star newspapers.

He is the Canadian Association of Journalists and a director of the charity Canadian Journalists' Education Foundation.
