Description:
I released a jQuery plugin called Chosen with the hopes that a few hundred people might find it interesting. Less than a year later, it has become one of the most watched projects on GitHub with a steady stream of issues, pull requests and emails. In this talk, I'll discuss the perils of maintaining a popular open source project from a rookie's perspective. I'll also take a look at how we can better encourage people to contribute to existing projects and release more of their own works.
