Description:
I know that your app needs to move data between the client and server. It doesn’t matter if it is a jQuery call in a web app, or a WebRequest call from .NET we need an easy way to build services that expose our data. The ASP.NET Web API (http://www.asp.net/web-api) framework makes it super easy to expose xml and json services. In this session we will introduce this framework and give you all the information you need to get started using it.

This is my first opportunity to see Shawn in action. I thought he was very knowledgeable, clear, concise and well-organized. He has a great sense of humor which made the talk even more enjoyable. Keep up the good work!

As always, Shawn delivered yet another flawless presentation and was quick on his feet with answering the audience's questions. It was quite a useful intro to ASP.Net Web API and bestowed a few new things I have not yet learned about it. Thanks, Shawn!
