Everyone knows that bad design sucks. But it can also hurt us financially, politically and environmentally. Put good design to use and spread goodwill toward men (and women), save the planet, and make a little money while you're at it.

Thanks Lisa, and I completely agree about having a summary, or at least some structure. I had to remove about 4 slides due to time constraints, and it turns out that doing so caused a lack of helpful talking points. And without them, the content sort of flowed together without any separation.
I'll be working on making this better, creating specific takeaways, and adding content as well. Thanks for attending and giving some useful feedback, I appreciate it.

Hi Patrick,
Thanks for coming to the North Shore. Your presentation style is very welcoming and relaxed. You have great teachers leading by example at Refresh Boston and it shows in your style.
I agree with what you and Lisa say about having a summary but more towards my thoughts where that I enjoyed the slide show but wasn't sure what it all meant or how I should change for the better. So end points for me would help.
I liked your examples, but I did find some maybe be too well known for our peers but I'm a green person and up on these things. I loved the dog poop ones though and the comparison to 2 products. One product seemed perfect in advertising but really it was not the best one. Like your opinion of different coloured bags at end for better usability. Your opinions are good and I think the audience had some good ones too that may make you want to edit out some examples like the battery cars, maybe not so good for environment in long run.
I was reading my Front End Drupal book today and thought of you. I came across a site example that may be good for your presentation. It's called "toilet birthdays" http://www.toiletbirthdays.com/. Since you are on the whole poop thing. The site is great because it mixes fun, learning, sociability, and saving the environment in very subtle ways.
My 2 cents. See you at next Thurs at Refresh Boston and thanks for all you do for our community.
Cheers, Susan

Pat,
As Susan said about your usability suggestion with the colored bags. I agree, and I'd say there were many well placed tidbits like that throughout.
You did a great job keeping my attention. I think I had a smile on the whole time. That means a lot to me. Entertaining as always.
Great delivery, you had a lot of good things to say that I hadn't heard before.
Keep up the awesome work, sir!
Jason R.

I would have enjoyed hearing or seeing a summary up front of the things you were going to speak about. I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The content and suggestions were great though. Thanks for being there.
