Description:
I read, a lot. I write code, a lot. What the heck does one have to do with the other? I think reading literature can make you a better code writer. How does reading about mountain climbing, theoretical physics, or feminism make you a better ruby programmer? Come to this talk to find out, and bring your book-list; I guarantee I will fill it up before I am done!

Quite enjoyed your content Renée and you encouraged me to read a hell of a lot more.

Really enjoyed this talk. If I had to suggest an improvement, I would say to have each subject area have only one or two books; I felt like I was getting information overload! It's a nitpick; enjoyed the talk for sure. And you should post the slides ASAP, with Amazon Affiliate links to all the books :)

Really good, I am really into expanding my book collection and world view at the moment and Renee's talk has helped me to accomplish this immeasurably. Thank you.
