Description:
This course will give someone who has little to no telephony experience a jumpstart to be able to create applications in Adhearsion. Topics covered include telephony basics, Asterisk, database integration, rails integration, logging, cloud integration, unit testing and best practices.
Intermediate – Advanced This course will cover advanced topics including Adhearsion 2.0. , XMPP integration, scaling issues, best practices and other topics as requested by the participants.
Pre-requisites Students should have experience writing basic Adhearsion applications and have a Mac or Linux machine to participate with hands on examples.
Great session. Lance came prepared with development environments for us, so we didn't have to waste 1/2 of the session getting set up. In addition, the projects that we tried worked and were really fun. I feel I have the knowledge now to know where to start diving in on further telephony development. I'm really glad I got the chance to be in on this session.
