Amazing talk tonight, inspiring, as I am partnering with a usability consulting shop and am learning how their heads work.

Your speaking style is great and presentation materials were spot-on for the topic.

It would be impossible for anyone to cover all things usability related in a 60 minute presentation, but Matthew did a great job hitting on a lot of the things most of us wonder about when it comes to our users and our products.

His talk had a great flow to it, and even when the audience participation (and laughter) wasn't there, he managed to keep his cool and get through to the next slide. There were times when, even with the mic, he was a little too quiet, but most of the talk was easily heard and understood.

One of his strengths is taking questions from the audience during and after the presentation, which he really managed well. I love the fact that Matthew will walk around the audience and look for questions, then repeating them so everyone can hear, before doing his best to get to the answer. And he always checks to make sure the person who asked it got the answer they needed.

Overall, Matthew's talk at Refresh was fantastic, as was the topic and content presented. And it helps that he offered 2 handouts in PDF format to supplement everything he went over during the meeting.

Great content. Great delivery. I learned a nice handful of things I had never heard of before, well worth the time to show up and listen!

He answered my questions eagerly and honestly. What more can one expect?

Thanks for everything, Matt!
