The Machines Are Alive 3.08 http://spkr8.com/t/1504

Description:

What happens when machines are turned loose to build other machines? What happens when they monitor their own health and repair themselves? Where does ruby fit into this picture and how does it change the way we build and deploy web applications? I’ll answer these questions and more during a tour of the Engine Yard Cloud architecture. Along the way, we’ll look at the methods used on our team to address disposable/repeatable infrastructure, fault tolerance, and testing in a SOA environment.

I really hoped for more from this talk given it's cool title.
