This session will explore two resources that are available to MVC developers that allow for features and capabilities beyond that which is provided in the core ASP.NET MVC framework.

The MVC Futures assembly contains “experimental” features that Microsoft is considering for future versions of ASP.NET MVC. We’ll take a look at several of these features and discuss the pros and cons of incorporating experimental features into production applications.

MVC Contrib is a CodePlex project that provides additional functionality to the MVC Framework. We’ll take a look at several of these features and discuss what it takes to use them in your ASP.NET MVC projects.
