Web Performance and Google Page Speed 4.47

Description:

In summer of 2009, Google started “Let's make the web faster” initiative with Google Page Speed as a flagship product. Page Speed is a Firfox and Firebug extension, similar to Yahoo’s YSlow, which automatically grades your web page based on a set of predefined best-practices with deep analysis and recommendations. Page Speed also provides a few other tools to monitor performance such as interactive page speed activity graph and metrics export to external file and remote beacons like ShowSlow.

Excellent introduction to a very useful set of tools, and some performance aspects that eluded me previously!
