SQL Server 2008 R2 - Data Tier Applications (DAC) 4.77 http://spkr8.com/t/2059

Description:

This session focuses on the Data Tier Application (DAC) support added in SQL Server 2008 R2 November CTP. It tries to look into the problems that DBAs and Application Developers have in making, reviewing, validating, managing and deploying database changes. Through the experiences of two fictitious characters (Sumit - a DBA; and Leena - an Application Developer) the Data Tier Application feature supported in SSMS 2008 R2 Nov CTP and Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2 is examined in detail.
