Description:
I'm no JavaScript or jQuery master, but I still regularly knock out client requests using jQuery. Since picking it up a year or two ago, my toolbox is a lot bigger and I feel a lot more powerful as a front end designer. In this talk we'll cover some common client requests and how jQuery can come to the rescue.
The talk will cover these common requests:
"I want the music to keep playing when visitors navigate around the site" "Can the information just pop up when they click this?" "Can we put the navigation from the store right on the homepage?" "I want to display my latest tweet." "Can that text say xxx instead of yyy?"

I frequently go to css-tricks.com to see the latest and greatest or whatever's on Chris' mind, and it was great to see legit client requests and how he accomplished them. Not the best public speaker, but the content spoke for itself. Pretty good presentation.

@psdpainter - I disagree, I thought he was a great presenter. Funny, informative and down to Earth.

I enjoyed the presentation. Great idea on the format. The presentation could use a little more polish.

Perfect presentation for designers. Innovative-ish creative solutions that are based on real client requests.
