Thanks for the BarCamp presentation Matt I enjoyed it ! & hey - no need to be shy about being a Yahoo advocate for several reasons :

1.) Yahoo is a great GOOD ! ( Not overreaching and Not Evil at all ! )

2.) Yahoo is NOT acquisitive, proprietary and closed – its Very Open and helpful.

3.) Having worked for several software companies before I KNOW that generally they ask their employees to Drink the Coolade and declare it GOOD. But, generally, MOST developers are not terribly interested in partisan squabbling anyhow but are rather more interested in A.) Contributing something useful quickly and B.) Looking good doing it. :-)

4.) Add everything above up and think everyone generally EXPECTS Yahoo to lead and promote their agenda and so would be OK with a bit more getting on the Yahoo ‘Soap box’ - but just a bit more, don’t go overboard – you’ll know you’ve gone too far if you sound like Scott McNealy did ;-)
