Description:
In the technology world, trends emerge and dissipate, but some things just hang around after years and years. Vi is one of them. The power of Vi has kept it alive, and the community is still growing. The power can be unleashed in the Visual Studio emulator called ViEmu. If you care about productivity, and learning a timeless tool, this presentation is for you.

I like the pictures and single word slides. Great impact.
Bill Joy 1976 - you could do a show of hands "who is older/younger than vi?" just for the lols
You did a good job ignoring the guy taking the phone call.
Could talk about the bi-modal nature of vim before talking about how to swtich.
'dot' is aka the last 'atomic change'.
Good demonstration to show the more advanced features. Enjoyable talk.

The slideshow was well put together. Very cohesive visual theme.
Coding in front of an audience is very difficult and you handled it very well.
Using software that shows keystrokes on screen would add a lot of value to such a keystroke-intensive presentation (something like link text).
I really liked the conversational/informal style of the workshop and you handled the heckling nature of the group quite well :).

Aaron obviously knows his stuff. I'm excited to try out some Vi(m) tricks and maybe a demo of Viemu!
