I've been using Git for 2.5 years, but this talk made it "click" for me.
This was my favorite talk at the hoedown hands down. I'm still coming to grips with Git so seeing how the internals worked was really really helpful. Scott was also really fun to listen to. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and his pace (breakneck) made me really pay attention which helped me get a lot more out of the talk.

Combine hilarious quips with amazing information concerning the inner workings of Git and you've made a winning presentation. Given my basic knowledge of Git, it was great to hear about what the hell is going on finally. Excellent presentation.
