Starting out as a DBA? In this talk, we'll chat about some of the most important things to be looking at as a DBA and hopefully get you out to a good start. Been a DBA for awhile? Need some reminders about all that could go wrong, chatting about the order of operations for a DBA (Recovery before security before performance, for example) might give you a reminder to check out something in your environment. New DBAs and "Reluctant DBAs" (Developers or Sysadmins put in the DBA role because they could spell SQL Server) benefit most.
