Description:
In this session we will look at how we can use a number of popular .Net OSS projects to develop a real world application. Based on production code, we will look at how using a combination of NHibernate, FluentNHibernate, Castle Windsor and a number of other OSS (AutoMapper, MvcContrib, FluentMvc) to reduce the friction of application development and remove a lot of infrastructural concerns. We will explore how we can leverage these tools to drive a convention based development experience and make it easier for ourselves and team mates to write applications and deliver what the client wants.

Great talk, just starting out in MVC and this was a good indication of what can be done!

Very insightful talk built on interesting and useful content. Speaker seemed a little jittery in places and starting rushing towards the end but knew his stuff and delivered a solid talk.

60 minutes was not enough to explain some of the core concepts of NHibernate and Castle Windsor.
Also, the fact that the solution does not work properly with MVC3 suggests the presentation's foundation was possibly flawed from the outset.

Too much content to cover in a hour. He spent far too much time on Castle Windsor and I still am not sure what was required, what was not, etc..

Hard to understand.

Is there a link were we can download the code form this presentation?

i wish it was more live coding and getting into the basics. But since there was only an hour i understood the need to compress the data. I do wish ithere were more breakdown
