ModelBinding derived types using the DerivedTypeModelBinder in MvcContrib 2.76 http://spkr8.com/t/5522

Description:

In the presentation we'll show how to use the DerivedTypeModelBinder with Mvc EditorTemplates. We'll show examples of deep object graphs that render and then model bind back to the ViewModel giving a very rich level of functionality. We'll then grow that functionality to build Wizard-style interfaces focusing on a very generic manner using a StateMachine.

probably trying to cover too much. would have preferred to see simpler implementations.

Went WAY too fast and seemed very disorganized. I was looking forward to this session, but his screens only stayed up for about 1 second each as he jumped around so much. Also included a lot of advanced concepts. I wish we had known that ahead of time and could have brushed up.

Great content, but I felt pretty lost throughout most of the session. The presenter obviously knows his stuff, but he jumped around a lot. He had his example well prepared, but there was so much TO the example that I did not fully comprehend the flow of logic there.

incoherent and just could not follow his train of thought.

excellent work. although its a little more advanced for me, i felt he did a great job. Has a good voice for these things too!

He just flew through his presentation at warp speed in a very rambling way. I think he had some good stuff to say, but his delivery was horrible.

I really liked the presentation, the guys application structures were tight and evolved, the source code was understandable and helpful.

really didn't get much info on implementing DTMB and implementation details, pitfalls, etc. Got alot of info on fluentworkflow though but it felt off topic to the presentation title
