Description:
Since ASP.NET MVC was released, many of us have found that Ajax-rich applications are easier than ever to build on the ASP.NET platform. Over time I have learned some techniques and better practices through trial-and-error and the advice of smart developers. In this session I will show you things I have learned and practices I have started using more consistently in my own projects, at work and on the side, to build better, more consistent and more re-usable ajax functionality into my sites.

A bit too much Q&A, but otherwise great!
Craig Quillen,
08 Feb 03:13 PM
main problem was spent too much time on Q&A and ran out of time on content.
Steve Lydford,

Thanks for the insight. Adjusting screen resolution instead of clicking RETURN to accept the alert box was the only thing that could have been better really. Excellent presentation.

Good info - a little rushed. Would have listened to it for another hour.
Andreas Kroll,

Too many questions, but that is a positive sign of a interesting topic.
Awesome presentation, could have listened for hours.
Dan Pincas,

Excellent presentation. Got a little caught up on answering too many questions.

Too many questions distracted from the presentation

Very smooth presentation style. Bugs were small and quickly fixed. The ~400 people watching have all been there and understand and appreciate a code-only presentation. It's a shame time ran out on the JavaScript refactoring - it was really warming up!
David Longnecker,

Great content, but covering so many questions midstream made it a bit difficult to follow. The intro to templating was brilliant--thanks Eric.

I fund the content useful and picked up some useful tidbits. The presenter had a problem finishing on time. Perhaps too much time on questions?

Very good presentation on refactoring Ajax to be DRY-er in MVC.

The lag was detrimental to the talk. I did find the talk useful.

Great content and presentation, but I think it needed more than an hour (as he ran out of time at the end.) There were a lot of questions and good answers which took up a lot of time.

Great presentation on jquery/ajax and templates

I know it's very difficult to find a balance here, but I thought too much time was spent on question. The content was very good tho. And the questions that were answered were done so very well. Good job!

This has made me much more confident in my writing an API library in JavaScript, as well as given me a few new ideas on further making my JavaScript more reusable. Thank you!

Take fewer questions in the middle of the presentation. It breaks the flow too much.
Dennis Palmer,
08 Feb 11:24 PM
Would definitely have benefited from having a moderator to keep track of the incoming questions. Only wish we could have gotten all the way through your content. Great presentation and very helpful!

Yes, he took too many questions, but remember he was moderating it himself... Overall very helpful, wish he had another 30 minutes.
James Murphy,

Same as most people - too much time on live questions resulting in loss of content. Delivery was excellent.

This is the first session of the conference I've ever attended. Love the fast pace. I love how you refactor showing the logic behind why you do things the way you do.
