As the speaker coordinator for the Kalamazoo X Conference, I asked Mike to come up with a community-oriented talk a couple weeks before the event because of his involvement with, and his commitment to, the development community.

As the last session of the day, Mike absolutely captured the spirit of the day. His "Community - Get Involved" talk was amazing. He is a fantastic speaker, community leader and friend. Great job Mike!

Having been a part of this community for awhile, I really think Mike did a great job of explaining what community is and how to get involved! His enthusiasm and energy at the end of the day was a great way to end the conference on an energizing note. And the fact that he got his audience involved at the end - stand up and clap for the organizers ... just awesome!
