A great presentation overall. Scot has excellent pacing, especially for an introductory-level talk on a more complex topic. I wish I could've attended this talk before my first foray into MDX -- it would have been much easier with the information Scot shared. At times it got a little hard to hear him from the back of the room because of noise in the meeting room next door. That [very minor] item aside, I'm glad I was in the audience for this talk. I'll be much better prepared to work with MDX next time around.

The simple analogies Scot presents to help explain MDX and its constructs are the most effective I have ever come across. For folks who have fought to get their head around MDX, I suggest a short discussion with Scot. You'll be surprised at the clarity afterwards.
