In addition, GitHub is helping that rise by making version control a "social platform" and making code easy to share and collaborate on. In this session, I will explain what Distributed Version Control Systems are and how Git works. I will explain how to get started with Git, how to use GitHub for your code, and how to easily use Git on a day to day basis.
