Description:
Git is enjoying a meteoric rise in popularity among source control systems. In addition, GitHub is helping that rise by making version control a "social platform" and making code easy to share and collaborate on. In this session, I will explain what Distributed Version Control Systems are and how Git works. I will explain how to get started with Git, how to use GitHub for your code, and how to easily use Git on a day to day basis.

Topic and content were very good, presentation was pretty good. Maybe demo with a more realistic scenario (actual code), and show rebase and reset.

Fun intro to git, nice and technical. You seemed well-prepared! I don't think you talked too fast or made too little eye contact or anything like that. Only wish I could have seen more of the VS2010 integration tool.
