This talk is aimed to those who still are hackers at heart. There's nothing like the thrill of seeing ethereal computer instructions turn into very real, physical effects and actions. If you've heard the noise about Arduino and wondered what the heck it is about, come on over as we will take a look at the latest version and run a couple of demos showing how dead simple it is to use. We will also visit the .NET Micro Framework, an interesting alternative. Platforms like these are frequently used by people with little or no background in electronics in very creative ways.
