You have fantastic stage presence and an ability to joke with the audience. Sometimes you talk too fast and it's hard to follow. Although your examples were really cool, I didn't feel you really got accross what this kind of statistics is actually useful for.

Great talk - and I really must second Emily's comment about your stage presence. Even if I hadn't been interested in the subject, I probably would have still listened, just because of the way it was presented. Obviously, when I see the word Ardbeg on the screen, you've automatically got my attention.

I think you handled the complexity in a good way - making it clear that it's OK to have dropped out of uni, and not understand all the math behind it ;)

Come to think of it, Emily is probably also right about getting across the real-world use cases. Personally, I looked at it and started thinking about how we could use it for answering questions that our customers don't know that they should be asking - but, some real-world examples of when you'd want to use the tools would have been good.
