Description:
Whether you're new to Rails or have been around few years, chances are that your views are primitive. Detonate what you know about how views are written and let's start over.
In this session we'll discuss... - Why your views suck - Instance variables are stupid - Kill helpers and work with objects - Drawing the line between "C" and "V" - Treating views as API customers - Rethinking templating
By the end you'll be dying to blow up your views.

Such a great talk. I appreciate the effort it takes to build a well structured and thoughtful presentation, your animations and pacing were really smooth. I really liked your jQuery Air training from codeschool.com, and look forward to more.
Thanks!

One of the best talks of LSRC. Jeff always has a strong stage presence and very professional, well prepared content. Don't miss his talks if you get a chance to attend one.

Great job, Jeff! A really refreshing and practical philosophy on views Rails. I'll be playing with the draper gem a lot.

good talk, I like how you seem to have a view that encompasses ideas outside of just ruby\rails.
