Description:
As your front-end application grows it is important to abstract pieces of your implementation to make it easier to extend and less painful to maintain. AmplifyJS is a JavaScript library that was developed to assist with a common set of problems in front-end development. The three components consist of a publish and subscribe messaging system, a persistent storage component that abstracts various cross-browser concerns, and a request piece that sets out to make data retrieval more maintainable. This talk will start with a sample application that is brittle and tightly coupled and we will slowly enhance the application by the three AmplifyJS components. In the end we will have an application that is testable, flexible, and loosely coupled.

Great presentation, very engaging speaker. I do wish there was more time to cover the material, as I feel Elijah was barely able to scrap the surface of what AmplifyJS can do
Great presentation, also one of the best sessions and also concur that perhaps if there was more time, the session would've graduated from great to awesome! Great job anyways!

This was one of my favorite sessions. The presentation was clear and engaging, with solid content and good examples. This was all the more impressive given the time constraints; a 45-60 minute slot would have fit the topic better.

Solid talk. I had never heard of Amplify prior to this conference and I'm already incorporating it into my projects. Exactly the kind of talk I was hoping to attend.
Effective presentation of the very valuable features of Amplify JS, what they do and how you might use them.

I felt like Elijah needed and hour and only had thirty minutes. Really solid presentation but the content was hurt by the lack of time. Smart, funny and smooth talk.
