The presenters and overall presentation was great and interesting. I will definitely apply the concepts discussed when I'm in the classroom setting. Understanding that we should almost embrace failure rather than put such a negative appearance on it was a great take-away. It was also nice to hear a different spin on rewards not being the best motivator.

However, I felt that there wasn't enough "... and then apply those insights to experience design more broadly". The majority of the room was web designers, including myself. While it's true that we should strive to make learning more about discovery and being hands-on, moving away from the screen and making the experience more personal, this is not always possible when you never meet your audience or end-user and the only means of communication is your site/app. I would have liked to have seen a slightly more direct connection with the work we do on a daily basis and maybe see some examples of how we can bring this type of learning to the web.

The topic was interesting and speakers definitely did a great job of sharing their knowledge and answering questions. I just feel it may have been directed to the wrong audience.
