Description:
Do you know what SRP and SOLID mean? No? Then this talk is for you. This talk will introduce you to some lesser-practiced techniques in the Ruby world. These techniques will allow you to write code that is easier to test, easier to maintain, and easier on the eyes.

Excellent talk! You did a good job of expressing things that we all know in the back of our minds but ignore because we're lazy. :)

Interesting talk, good job for talking about this stuff.
What do you say to those that argue that they are confident their code is good because it's well tested? So your point about of the Jenga tower wouldn't apply to them, or they feel it wouldn't.

@Kalvir...I would say that tests are only part of the picture of code quality. Another part is the ability to move quickly in a codebase when adding new features. If I refactor that code, I can more easily parallelize changes because people are working in different files.

Excellent talk. Your ideas are something i have been working very hard to follow not in just Ruby but Javascript as well. Excellent talk!
