About Chris Weldon

Chris Weldon is committed to delivering high value on agile teams. Since 2007, Chris has been reading, loving, living, leading, and mentoring agilists and agile teams to build high quality, high value software. Chris carries the roles of manager, scrummaster, mentor, developer, and architect. Sharing his knowledge by speaking at user groups, universities, conferences, and one-on-one with others is a passion. Chris has been a speaker for several Aggieland user groups, tech fests, AgileDotNet, Agile 2012, and other conferences and technology groups alike. Chris also blogs at http://www.chrisweldon.net.

These days, Chris spends his times mentoring his team in microservices design, continuous delivery, dev/ops, and distributed processing using Azure Service Fabric. Chris has been technical lead on several .Net projects and has significant experience with permissions and identity management in .Net and SharePoint environments by means of projects that leverage ASP.Net WebAPI, WIF, OAuth, and when necessary, WCF.

By being an agile pragmatist at heart, Chris strives to strike the right balance between the ideal and the real in order to meet the team’s objectives without sacrificing the values and principles we have come to love.

Chris is a Fightin’ Texas Aggie. When he isn’t delivering high value software and mentoring high performing agile teams, he spends time with his wife Melissa and children Tristan and Gwenevere.
