About ezra goldman
Ezra Goldman is a user centered design strategist with an emphasis on the interrelationship between people, places and things. His projects have covered a wide array of fields, from HP wanting to understand out what the future of connectivity meant for their business, the City of Copenhagen trying to use ethnographic research to stimulate product development for nursing homes, and uncovering user insights to develop design goals for beta versions of a web-based software tool and two digital walking tours.
He has a particular interest in coupling new technology with cultural trends and business imperatives to inspire environmentally beneficial behavior in the transportation industry. Projects in this vein include creating use case scenarios for Piaggio and the MIT Media Lab for a shared-use folding electric scooter, helping City Carshare trying to understand its process and core technology needs, and entrepreneurial user research in San Francisco to develop the kernel of a rideshare startup concept.
Ezra holds a BA in Anthropology from Reed College and an MCP (City Planning) from MIT. He has lived, worked and studied for four years in Europe, Asia and Latin America. He speaks a handful of languages with varying degrees of proficiency. He is based in Copenhagen.
