With over 16 years experience in marketing strategy, Laurie has acted as the trusted advisor to executives on high profile, large digital assignments to many top North American Fortune 500 companies and their websites including Futureshop, Bell Canada, Air Canada, Human Resources Development Canada, Sun Life, Holt Renfrew, Kohls, Panasonic, Blue Cross Blue Shields and more.

In 2009, Laurie founded to meet the growing demand for social media consulting and education. Her company was the hired gun for Epilepsy Toronto’s 2009 Scotiabank BuskerFest, recognized as one of the top 100 festivals in Ontario. Leading a team of twenty, Laurie developed and implemented all social media activity including acting as the voice behind BuskerFest's Facebook and Twitter accounts. In her spare time, Laurie teaches newcomers to Canada how to use social media to find a job. Laurie is also the co-chair to the American Marketing Association's Social Media Group for the Toronto Chapter
