Database Change Process

About the Talk

October 22, 2009 6:00 AM

All databases receive changes from time to time. To protect the systems, we need to ensure that we follow best practices, along with our company’s processes and policies while releasing these changes. There are many ways to accomplish these goals. Many different applications can be used to reach these goals. Even manual systems can be implemented to push code. We’ll talk about a few ideas that I have witnessed, implemented, and followed as a Production DBA. Hopefully, you will be able to learn ideas to help out your systems.
