Traditionally we've architected web applications where the back-end houses all the front-end code. This has resulted in heavy projects that are difficult to manage and scale. I'm proposing a new way to write web applications by treating the front-end as if it were a third-party (such as a mobile client).

I'm going to demonstrate how to build an app in this manner as well as intro the open-source application Karma and how it was built.

Web applications are not what they used to be, and our method of creating them needs to change.
