Solving Common Client Requests with jQuery
A talk by Chris Coyier
About the Talk
April 24, 2010 8:00 AM
I'm no JavaScript or jQuery master, but I still regularly knock out client requests using jQuery. Since picking it up a year or two ago, my toolbox is a lot bigger and I feel a lot more powerful as a front end designer. In this talk we'll cover some common client requests and how jQuery can come to the rescue.
The talk will cover these common requests:
"I want the music to keep playing when visitors navigate around the site" "Can the information just pop up when they click this?" "Can we put the navigation from the store right on the homepage?" "I want to display my latest tweet." "Can that text say xxx instead of yyy?"
