Microformats have been giving front-end developers and designers the opportunity to offer structured data on their websites without having to create an API, and are creating a new, higher-level set of standards in the process. This talk explores what Microformats are, how to use them, whether to use them, and the opportunities they can present to both those creating the website as well as those using the website.
