Developing interactive experiences with JavaScript can be a daunting task. Reduce your headaches and improve your efficiency by adding jQuery to your toolbox. jQuery is a JavaScript library that not only simplifies working with HTML elements, it makes it easier to add AJAX interactions and visual effects to your sites.

In this hands on session, we'll step through creating an HTML/JavaScript application from scratch. We'll use jQuery to add dynamic features to a page without any total page refreshes. We'll use jQuery plugins to improve user experience. In the process we'll see how jQuery changes the way you look at coding JavaScript.
