Successful UX design and strategy relies on actual users being represented throughout a product development cycle. However, cross-functional product development teams often face unique challenges when incorporating research in the design process. When users are ignored or forgotten, these challenges can result in missed opportunities and misguided design and development efforts. In this talk I’ll discuss the risks of doing bad research (or none at all) and use case studies and examples to introduce creative strategies for engaging product teams in user research regardless of timeframe or budget.
