In this session, we'll take a lap around SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), the ETL tool first introduced with SQL Server 2005. We'll review the architecture of Integration Services, including the storage and deployment of packages, control flow and data flow operations, execution options, followed by a brief walk through the mechanics of creating, deploying, and executing your first package. This session is intended for those who have little to no experience with SSIS.
