It is often the case that clients want usability testing, but they have a limited budget to work with. When planning a website overhaul, is it more important to test in the sketch stage, wireframes, partially-clickable, or final product? In a perfect world, they would test all along the way, but what if they only have a small budget and want to test SOMETHING? In this panel presentation, 3-4 experienced usability professionals will discuss how they work with clients who have a limited budget. We will discuss how we have worked with clients, ranging from government to the private sector, and we will use examples where we were able to give diverse clients more bang for their buck. Attendees will learn about the importance of testing at different stages and how to determine the best way to get testing in on a limited budget.
