Bluetooth Low Energy er BLE...I mean Bluetooth 4.0...Or you may have hear it called Bluetooth Smart. Well, WHICHEVER you refer to it as, it's currently the most prevalent way to communicate with the vast majority of the "Wearable" category of devices today. We're going to take a look at the wide open possibilities of applications using wearable BLE devices interfacing with a Raspberry PI. The session will provide an overview of BLE, how to interact with it via Generic Attribute profiles (GATT), setting up your PI to be a BLE server and harness the power of BLE enabled devices.
