Bad data can make a perfectly good database look bad. Everything just looked lovely until that no good data had to get loaded. After that the entire ambiance of your attractive database just looked shoddy and unkempt. Data Quality Services can freshen up the entire look by of your database by cleaning up the unsightly data. Data Quality Services is an underutilized feature which allows you to resolve data quality issues from bad data to applying user defined rule sets. Starting from installing DQS, just in case you over looked when you were busy installing SQL Server 2014, to incorporating Azure data, we will review what you need to know to get started using this tool.
