The development of iStanford, Stanford University's mobile interface, is a story about students and their indefatigable determination to excel and achieve. iStanford also is a story about challenging conventional wisdom and creating something beyond expectations: an application paradigm, new brand and corporate division. During this presentation you'll hear directly from one of the students involved in the development of iStanford as he demonstrates the application and forecasts the future direction of mobile for colleges and universities. Data from a student-led study show that the mobile phenomenon is anthropomorphizing, in both expected as well as unusual ways. All this leads to the indisputable finding: mobile is here to stay.
