Yahoo! Blueprint is an XML-based language developed to address the problem of phone browser fragmentation, primarily on feature phones, which still represent the vast majority of the market. Instead of worrying about screen widths and devices capabilities, we allow developers to code a website once and have our renderer "port" their website to thousands of devices of varying capabilities and device grades. For phones that support it, we also take advantage of device capabilities such as geolocation, touch interaction, and Ajax functionality, all while providing a proper fallback.
