Have you ever asked an employee for feedback, but you could tell they weren’t telling you the truth? Perhaps they’re worried about stepping on your toes because you’re “the boss." Or they don’t want to throw a coworker under a bus (metaphorically speaking, of course). As an owner, getting honest feedback from your employees is the most crucial element to your studio’s success.
In this session, Claire will explain why it's so difficult for employees (and people, in general) to give and get honest feedback. Most importantly, Claire will talk about how you can give and get this honest employee feedback – especially when emotions are running high. This way, you can avoid being blindsided by problems, retain your best employees, and create a healthy company culture to help your studio last in the long-run.
