We all know that learning one new language a year is a great goal for improvement as a programmer. However, it can be a bit intimidating to get started in a new language, especially one that looks very different from what you're used to. Clojure brings together the expressiveness and power of Lisp, fantastic concurrency semantics, and the rich libraries of Java. This tutorial will quickly acclimate attendees to Clojure, along with some motivation for functional programming.
We start with a brief intro to the language, and then leap into the Clojure Functional Koans to apply our knowledge and learn more.
