In this session I will show you how you, very easily, can build an app to answer a phone call using and route the phone call to a web browser to be answered by a human agent, using while providing the agent with additional demographic data about the caller using

More and more, customers are using e-mail, web chat, social media and other alternate channels to communicate with businesses. But did you know that 65% of all customer service interactions are still done over the phone?

Using the telephony API, I will show you how to build an app to: Answer a call using

  1. Lookup additional Caller Information using the API.
  2. Transfer the call to a web browser using the API and JQuery components.
  3. Display the additional Caller Information from to the agent answering the call from within his/her web browser.
  4. Apps like this can be used to front-end customer service calls and provide better customer service interactions by tailoring responses and routing based on information known about the caller.

Combine an app like this with a good CRM system and you will be able to dramatically increase customer satisfaction while at the same time driving incremental revenue.
