This workshop is a practical look into network automation. The workshop will provide several real-world examples for automating network configuration and troubleshooting in several types of network environments. It will include demonstrations and hands-on opportunities.
We will use YAML as a way of describing automation workflows, as well as Jinja2 as a language for building configuration templates on our servers, routers, switches, etc. These are the building blocks that we'll use to work with tools like Ansible and Schprokits.
Using these tools, we will perform automated configuration and troubleshooting of network infrastructure itself, such as switches, routers, and firewalls. We'll also look at deploying and configuring network services like DHCP, DNS, IPv6 SLAAC, and more.
